September 5, 1961 to February 4, 2021

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Gord Buchanan. He will be greatly

missed by his wife Moira and children Matthew and Chelsea, his mother Traude and step father Don, Sister-in-Laws Susan Mc Culloch (Ken) and Chris Kelm (Warren) .

Gord spent most of his working career in the aviation industry, first as a “ramp rat” at Hudson

General and then as a flight coordinator for Telus. He retired in 2016 and moved with his wife from Cloverdale to Osoyoos, a place he had always wanted to live.

Gord was known for his great love of cars and was often seen out waxing and polishing the fleet. He also loved to putter in the yard and look after the house, never sitting down because there was always something to do. Whether it be re-painting the siding or meticulously placing the sprinklers (even though he had automatic irrigation) he spent most of his summers outdoors.

He also had a very special relationship with his doggies Jackson (RIP), Jamie and Nikki.

High blood pressure took our husband, father and son, don’t let it take yours. Please take your heart health seriously.
