Jeanne Yvonne Marty, born

in Kelowna BC April 13,

1945. Passed away in Oliver

BC March 23, 2021. She is

survived by her husband Maurice and their 4 Children:

Charles (Barbara), Michelle, Richard (Kim), Elizabeth

(Jeff), 9 grandchildren, 4 granddogs, 1 great grandchild,

and 6 siblings.

Jeanne graduated from Immaculata Catholic High

School in Kelowna in 1964, and married Maurice

Marty in August 1965. They raised their family on an

acreage in Armstrong before relocating to Osoyoos in

1987. Jeanne was very active in St. Anne’s Parish in

Osoyoos and sang in the choir. She also worked at K&C

Silviculture in Oliver for many years before retirement.

In her spare time, she loved gardening, crocheting,

scrapbooking, card making and many other crafts. Her

generous personality, amazing creativity and infectious

laugh made her loved by everyone who met her.

Special thanks to the staff at McKinney Place for the

compassionate care they provided her over the last few

months.

to the Alzheimer Society of British Columbia.

A small private family memorial mass was celebrated

at St. Anne Catholic Church in Osoyoos followed by

interment and committal at the Osoyoos Lakeview
