Helen Quiring
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom, Helen Quiring.
She was a young 86 with a vibrant smile, energy galore, and always had kind words for all.
She loved her entire family and had a great love for her community.
After the loss of her husband, Henry, The Oliver Senior Centre became her sanctuary. She loved chatting with old friends, made wonderful new friends, danced and volunteered, these things brought her peace and happiness.
Helen was a kind and giving person to her friends, family, and community, she had so many wonderful qualities there isn’t enough room to list them all. She was everyone’s favourite “something”: sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend.
She leaves behind so many to remember her with fondness and love.
We would like to thank Ken for the love and dedication he gave to her and to the staff at the Oliver Hospital for their kindness and compassion.
In our Mother’s memory we ask that you love each other, be kind to each other, show tolerance, and most of all forgive each other.
