April 24, 1959 – June 22, 2021

Helen Leal of Oliver, BC, peacefully passed away June

22nd 2021 in the Penticton hospital after a 2 month fight

of her life.

She was born April 24th 1959 in Fort St John, BC. She later

moved to “the house with the red roof” in between Oliver

and Osoyoos. There she worked endless hours by her

parents side growing up in the orchard.

She is survived by her husband John Leal whom she married

on July 30th 1983.

Also surviving her are her daughters Christina (Chris), Marisa,

Lisa (Doug) and grandchildren: Catarina, Aryan, Riley,

Zarhiya and Milicia.

She is preceded in death by her father Jozeph Wingelmann,

mother Maria Wingelmann and brothers Joe and Louie.

Anyone that knew Helen knew she was anything but boring,

she was original and one of a kind. She was hard working,

fierce and was the person you wanted when you needed

someone in your corner.

Family and love were always Helen’s top priority and she will

be deeply missed by all.
