On Tuesday, August 10, 2021, Mr. Frank Makse of Osoyoos passed away peacefully after a short hospitalization at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 84 years.

He was predeceased by his father Joseph Makse, mother Josephine Makse, brother Joe Makse, grandson-in-law Kevin Seiling and former spouse Sylvia Fleming.

Frank will be fondly remembered by his loving family including son Michael (Lucy) and grandchildren Tanya (Shawn) and their daughter Amaya and Krista and her children Kyden and Ellie; son Brian (Paul); sister-in-law Connie; niece Angela; nephews Paul (Josie) and their children Darius and Careese and Gavin and his children Joseph and Danielle.

Frank worked for many years at the Osoyoos Packinghouse and was a member of the Osoyoos Royal Canadian Legion.

He was a big hockey fan and loved watching games in Osoyoos and Penticton, a football fan, gardening and loved going into town and meeting friends for coffee.

In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted for the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday August 20, 2021 at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery.
