October 3, 1945 – April 1, 2021

Frances Mary Plaskett passed peacefully on

April 1st, 2021. She was predeceased by

her parents, Kenneth and Mollie Plaskett

and her kitty kat, Lenny.

She is survived by her sister Leslie, her nieces Erin and Kristen and

Dara, and her great nieces Victoria and Tess, as

well as extended family and friends and her other

kitty kat, Squiggy.

Fran was the most well loved person. She

worked for 25 years at the Osoyoos Shopper’s

as a pharmacist assistant, and was adored and

appreciated for her sly wit, her blatant kindness

and her gentle and helpful soul. She was

dedicated, and patient and wise.

Fran took care of everyone. We called her Frani

Theresa.

She was the sweetest daughter and companion to

her mom.

She was a best friend to and advocate for her

sister.

She was the aunt who made the world feel safe

and magical.

She was the keeper of family history and stories.

She grew flowers and plants and people.

Fran was an avid photographer. She told the

stories of all those she loved and she brought out

the beauty in all of us.

If a life is measured in the love one gives and

receives, Fran’s was exceptional. A miracle. And

leaves nothing unrealized.

Celebration of life will be held later in the

summer.
