Florence (Flo) Waddell of Oliver, BC passed away peacefully at Moog Hospice in Penticton BC at the age of 91.

She was predeceased by her husband Jim and her 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Flo will be lovingly remembered by her family, Audrey (Les), Sandy, Len (Carol) and Ray (Darlene), 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Her family always came first and her happiest moments involved family time.

Flo loved to travel, including her visits to Hawaii, cruises to Alaska and Mexico, and winters spent in Arizona. She took great pleasure in camping and sitting around a campfire.

She had a great sense of humour, an upbeat attitude and was loved by all. Flo was a special lady and will be missed. She fought bravely in the last six months as her health failed. Special thanks to Dr. Hamilton for his dedication, and the staff at Moog Hospice for their kindness and wonderful care.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 13th at the Oliver Legion (upstairs). In lieu of flowers, donations to Moog Hospice in Penticton would be appreciated.
