On Friday July 30, 2020, Florence Rempel passed away peacefully at the Mariposa Care Centre, Osoyoos at the age of 82 following five years living with dementia. Florence spent the last two years at the care centre.

Florence was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.

Florence is survived by her husband Neil; two sons Steve (Northam), Glenn (Kristy) and nine grand children.

Florence was born in Innisfail, Alberta then moved to Maple Ridge BC with her family and grew up on a farm.

Florence and Neil’s marriage took place in Chilliwack in 1960. Later after having the boys and they began school, Florence started to work at the Simpson Sears Stores and worked with them for 24 years.

After retiring they moved to Osoyoos, BC and that is when Florence joined the golf club making many very good friends.

Florence was an outstanding house keeper and a great cook. She loved to have company over for meals and good visits.

Neil and Florence enjoyed many holidays together travelling to Hawaii, Florida, Costa Rica, Arizona and Mexico.

They did have plans to celebrate their 60th Anniversary August 13th.

There will be no funeral but plans to have a memorial at a later date.
