On Saturday, April 1, 2023, Mrs. Eleonora (Elli) Jakubovskis of Osoyoos passed away peacefully at Mariposa Gardens at the age of 96 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Stanley; a sister and a brother.

Elli will be fondly remembered by her nephew Frank; extended family in Europe as well as many friends and former work colleagues.

Elli enjoyed a long and storied nursing career in London, England, Vancouver and then at South Okanagan General and McKinney Place ECU.

She enjoyed gardening and travelling.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30am, Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery followed by a reception lunch at the Osoyoos Royal Canadian Legion Hall at 12:30pm.

Donations are gratefully accepted for a charity of one’s choice.
