Darrell Arlene Fehr (nee Cauldwell)
Darrell passed away peacefully, with her husband by her side, after fighting cancer, pneumonia, and finally Covid.
She was predeceased by her first husband, George Fehr; parents, Gil and Audrey Cauldwell; sister, Diane Walker; brother-in-law, Richard (Dick) Innes. Darrell will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Neil Seidler; sons, Shawn (Sue) Fehr, Troy (Liz) Fehr; daughter, Shannon Black (Geoff); stepson Rick (Karen) Fehr; sisters, Juanita (Don), Laurel; brother, Arvid (Elisabeth); brother-in-law, Gary; 8 grandchildren; 2 greatgrandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
All were loved and cherished by Darrell. She was very proud of her kids and grandchildren. She moved to B.C. from Saskatoon in July 1956 and then moved to Oliver from Vancouver in 1980. Darrell wore many hats when it came to work, including Home Hardware in Osoyoos, Mike’s Auto in Oliver and Link Hardware that later became Home Hardware in Oliver which she and her husband, George ran with the help of their kids and some well known Oliverites. She also worked in banking and transport on the West Coast. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Senior Center and working with the Royal Purple where she was Honoured Royal Lady. She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, playing bingo as well as crocheting, cross-stitch, needle point, wine and trying to get Neil to use the computer for more than games and Google Search.
She will truly be missed by all that knew her. Donations can be made to the B.C.
