Connie Ann Jump
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Nana, Mother, Sister, Cousin, Aunt, Mentor, Friend and forever cherished Wife, Connie Anne Jump. Connie, 68, passed away suddenly in Oliver, BC on Saturday September 17, 2022, with her beloved husband Stuart Jump by her side.
Connie was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on August 6, 1954. She grew up in the small town of Colonsay, Saskatchewan with her three brothers, Terrance, Denis, and Murray Rugg along with her parents, Anne & Frank Rugg. Connie eventually migrated to the Crowsnest Pass, where she had her beautiful loving children, Carri & Jason.
In 1978, Connie and her two children moved to Medicine Hat, AB where she later met Stuart, the love of her life. Connie and Stuart married on December 20, 1980 in their home surrounded by close family & friends. Connie & Stuart began a new journey with their children where they later settled down in Rocky Mountain House where their family continued to grow. Throughout the years, Connie worked as a social worker, she was heavily involved with the woman’s shelter, volunteered with various charities, and was a great asset to every community she was involved in. Along many things, Connie treasured her time traveling, volunteering, tending to her flower garden, playing endless card games, happy hour and above all, spending every last second with her precious children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
