Christopher Adam Leigh
January 2, 1971 – May 4, 2022
Christopher Adam Leigh passed away on May the Fourth, 2022, from health issues he had been coping with for several years. He will be missed and remembered by his parents, Ron and Lorraine; older brother Trevor; many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and countless friends and colleagues in the Arts Community and in the Bar and Restaurant industry. Adam graduated from Calgary’s Bishop Carrol High School before obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Calgary. An accomplished film, TV, improv, and theatre actor, he was particularly unforgettable as the lead in The Jedi Handbook plays. Adam was strong in the Force—an avid Star Wars fan and collector. He loved his Calgary Flames and had a deep knowledge of the team’s stats, players, and history. His sense of humor was well-known and it never failed to liven whatever social circle he found himself in.
All are welcome to join his Celebration of Life on Sunday, May 15th, starting at 2pm, at the Owl Pub in Osoyoos. There will also be a Celebration of Adam’s life in Calgary at a date/time soon to be determined. Condolences and tributes may be left for the family by visiting www.nunes-pottinger.com
