Sadly, after a brief illness, Carolyn Vera Madge (Cranna) of Oliver, B.C. passed away at home on Saturday, October 22, 2022 with her loving children by her side.  She was born in Trail, BC on May 7, 1942.

Carolyn was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Hazel Cranna, brother Donald Cranna, and son-in-law Mark Misner.

She is survived by her son Shawn Madge, daughter Colleen Misner, granddaughter Madeline Misner, sister, and brother-in-law Janet and Frank Whiteman, and several nieces and nephews.

Carolyn will be greatly missed by her tight-knit family and friends and the scores of people that knew her as a manager, co-worker, and mentor during her many years at Oliver Parks and Recreation. 

Carolyn will be especially remembered for her positive outlook and creativity. She loved music and travel, and her hand made greeting cards were sent all over the world. Her perfect day was spending time with those she loved on her deck at Tuc-el-nuit Lake. She impacted the lives of everyone she met.

In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted at the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation in her memory.
