Bill Robertson

1938 -
September 12, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bill Robertson on September 12, 2021. Bill was predeceased by his wife, Sheila in 2000 and will be fondly missed by his daughter Shelly, son-in-law Brent and son Zach. Bill was born in Toronto, Ontario and attended Brock University in St. Catherine’s, where he and Sheila were introduced to each other by friends. After too many long, cold winters they decided in 1976 to move west to a warmer Vancouver climate. Seeking more sunshine and wanting to leave the big city, they moved to Armstrong in the late ‘80’s, then settled in Osoyoos in the late ‘90’s. In more recent years, Bill managed to escape Canadian winters in Osoyoos by travelling to Yuma, Arizona each November. Finally, he had found the year-round sunshine that he was looking for! Bill enjoyed travelling and particularly liked taking cruises, having enjoyed several cruises to the Caribbean, Alaska and even to Greece. Bill was always a salesman and after a variety of sales-related occupations on the coast, he found his passion in real estate. He was a realtor for over 30 years. It was the perfect profession for him as he loved talking to people and was always making connections. Bill made many good friends in Osoyoos over the years and was always ready to stop and chat with whomever he passed on the street.   A proud member of the Company of Good Cheer, he loved to end the week over drinks, jokes, and conversation with his friends. He will be missed by many. Condolences may be left by visiting www.nunes-pottinger.com.
