Arlene passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family In South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 81 on January 19^th, 2023.

Predeceased by her children, Terri Mavis Wiens, Barry Derrick Brooks; husband Henry Derek Brooks; grandson Colton Dustin Brooks, and sister Marj Rosenberger.

Survived by her sister, Nadine Lee; children, Karen Brooks, Shelly Andruchow, Rhoda Brooks, and Shane Brooks; 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Arlene was passionate about many things, her family not being the least. Growing up on a farm she learned many skills that she carried through her life. Summers spent picking and canning fruit led into the fall for hunting. Arlene was known for her sewing, her cooking, and her hospitality. Arlene and Henry (Hank) created an atmosphere at The Cherry Tree that will forever be in our hearts and our memories.

Donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the South Okanagan General Hospital in Oliver, BC or the Cancer Foundation.

A memorial service was held at 10:30 am, Monday January 23, 2023 at St. Edward Anglican Church followed by a reception at the Osoyoos Indian Band Hall.
