Long time Oliver resident Alex Bauder passed away peacefully on February 14, 2022.

He will be forever remembered by his loving wife of 66 years, Marie; daughter, Koralee (Jay); grandchildren, Ali(Bryce), Molly(Casey), Sydney, (Spencer); great grandchildren, Micah, and Hadley.

Alex was a long-time member of the Oliver Fire Department and spent many years as the Assistant Fire Chief. He was also one of the community volunteers responsible for helping build the Oliver Curling Club. Alex owned a Dairy Queen franchise in the 70’s and finished off his working career at General Coach. In his retirement, Alex was an accomplished handyman and enjoyed fixing and renovating around the house.
