It’s known as the Ice Breaker soccer tournament – but it was sunshine and warm temperatures which greeted teams when they took to the pitch Saturday morning for the continuation of the annual tournament, with games being played in Osoyoos and Oliver.
Pinnacles FC is the umbrella organization, and has teams in U-11 up to U-18.
Oliver’a U-13/14 girls were on the field against Summerland Saturday morning at Southern Okanagan Secondary School (SOSS), and held a 2-1 lead late in the second half.
Games continue throughout Saturday and Sunday at SOSS in Oliver and at Desert Park in Osoyoos.
