The BCWS has updated the size of the wildfire to 1.7 ha.

The BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) is reporting (3 p.m.) a new wildfire burning out of control on Anarchist Mountain at Raven Hill Road on Osoyoos Indian Band (OIB) land, near the same location a wildfire was brought under control only about a week ago.
The cause this current fire is listed as lightning.
The BCWS says there are currently 11 firefighting personnel responding along with two helicopters.
The Anarchist Mountain Fire Department is also responding.

BC Wildfire was in the area dealing with a wildfire off Sasquatch Trail which it added to its dashboard at 10:30 a.m. this morning.
The fire was reported as being located off Sasquatch Trail towards the Telus Tower.
At 1:30 p.m. the fire was listed as being “Under control”.
