Now in its fifth season, Osoyoos Music in the Park is gearing up for another summer full of live music at Gyro Beach.

Osoyoos Music in the Park has announced its concert line-up for this summer, featuring country, rock and roll and just about everything in between.

Everyone is welcome to the free, weekly concerts, taking place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Friday night at the Gyro Beach bandshell.

Kicking off the summer concert series is Okanagan-based Celtic-inspired band Cod Gone Wild on June 28.

Room to Dance performs the first Friday in July, followed by Yard Katz, Taylor-Rae and the Backseat Drivers, and Peggie Nora.

Concerts in August include Hillside Outlaws, Naden Band of the Royal Canadian Navy, Sabrina Weeks Dance Band, Timbre Wolves, and Suz n’ Jonny’s Blues Band.

The concert series is organized by three volunteers, Janis St. Louis, Roland Berg and Debbie Dundass. This year they’re joined by Osoyoos Festival Society veteran organizer Shirley Baker.
