Two vehicles were involved in an accident at the junction of Road 22 and Hwy. 97 between Oliver and Osoyoos this morning about 7:40 a.m.
Fellow motorists stopped to provide aid and one individual was seen lying on the ground beside his vehicle before sitting propped up against the car while waiting for the ambulance to arrive.
The RCMP, Oliver Fire Department and BC Ambulance Service all attended the scene.
While unconfirmed, it appears a white SUV may have been at the stop sign turning left (south) onto Hwy. 97 and was clipped by a white vehicle travelling northbound on Hwy. 97.
