A 76-year-old Penticton man missing since May 4 was found dead last Tuesday in the back of a vehicle on Kruger Mountain west of Osoyoos.
The B.C. Coroner’s Service confirmed that the body was that of Kees Van Egmond and that he died of natural causes.
Van Egmond was reported missing by his family on May 6. He has a medical history and the family feared he might be in need of medical assistance.
His body was discovered by a resident of the Kilpoola Estates area.
