Mariposa Gardens resident representative Irene Neely (second from left), Miriam Landry, executive director (third from left), and Jannine Rennie, director of resident programs (right), presented Brittany von Burg (left), Better at Home program coordinator with a cheque for $690.50 on Monday. The cheque was the culmination of a month-long fundraising event. The staff had a 60/40 and wine basket draw and the residents held a draw for a basket of bath products. Every year, in collaboration with United Way, the resident council of Mariposa Gardens votes to choose a worthy organization to fundraise for.
