To all those who voted in this election, congratulations! You did it right and I am so glad to see the results.
Osoyoos Mayor Sue McKortoff and Councillor Myers Bennett are two of the dedicated people that I know who have put in the time for their community.
I have been to many meetings that few have attended and more committed too. But they were there, and making no excuses just the attitude of “let’s get it done!”
I am from Oroville and our neighbours are important to us. Regardless of what some have said, we are your railhead and you are our tourism support. We will continue to do work that benefits both our communities in the future. No, I do not represent Oroville, I am simply on a few committees that include the Okanagan in B.C.
