Re: Our soldiers deploying to Iraq and Mali.
On Saturday, Aug. 25, I began my “Walk for Our Troops” activity.
I decided to walk from Osoyoos to Oroville and back to show support for Canadian and U.S. troops deploying around the world.
I want to continue walking in this endeavor and will be walking again on Saturday, Sept. 8 along Osoyoos Lake.
Starting at the town hall at 9 a.m., the route will take me along Highway 3 east, along Lakeshore Drive and back, a 15-km round trip. The distance is a level walk, run, bike or rollerblade.
