Bill Coffin, a crooner from Penticton who will be celebrating his 88th birthday in about a week, sang some Frank Sinatra hits at Karaoke Extravaganza Sunday afternoon at Oliver Community Park. Mike Carter organized the event to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society as a “payback” after surviving a battle with cancer last year. Carter put a lot of work and his own money into organizing the event, which featured some excellent karaoke singers from throughout the valley. Unfortunately attendance on Sunday afternoon was well below what the event deserved. (Richard McGuire photo)
