Students and teachers in Oliver were all smiles as they headed back to school today.

One of the first things parents noticed at Tuc-el-Nuit Elementary School was the new, raised crosswalk and parking on the east side of the street. Note to motorists – don’t drive fast over that crosswalk or you might damage your undercarriage.

Students got acquainted with new teachers at Tuc-el-Nuit and Oliver Elementary School but were not burdened with academics because it was only a half day.

But tomorrow they’ll be opening their books and learning their A, B, Cs.
