Highway to Healing (H2H) has given a shout out to local car, Rusty Nuts, after they made another donation, this time $2,000.
Noting that the charity which helps support local families who have to travel away from home for their children’s medical needs receives substantial community support, it felt compelled to give a shout out when “on their very own, groups of people work extra hard to support H2H over and over again.”
The charity said ongoing funding is almost impossible to secure and “when we have people like the lovely women and men from the Rusty Nuts car club hand over thousands of dollars to local families we do like to give an extra Hip Hip Hooray!”
“Our hearts melt on behalf of “our” families when we are able to receive these funds and we are just so so so grateful,” the charity added in a social media post.
