BC Highway Patrol is seeking the public’s help in its investigation of the fatal crash on Hwy. 97, 9 km north of Osoyoos between Roads 21 and 20 on July 31.
A white 1992 Ford Explorer was travelling north at 7:58 a.m., when police said it crossed the centre line and struck a southbound vehicle head-on. The occupant of the southbound vehicle did not survive.
Police are wanting to speak with any witnesses to the collision and with anyone who stopped to assist. They are also seeking any dash-cam or surveillance video that may have captured the Ford Explorer’s driving prior to the crash.
Police are also asking that any residents that have house cameras that provide a view of the area along Hwy 97 where the collision occurred to contact the Highway Patrol.
