Students from Heather Langley’s Grade 3 class at Osoyoos Elementary School visited the Osoyoos Times last week, where staff told them about what goes into making a newspaper. The budding young journalists asked staff about how a paper is put together, the printing process and how photos get into the paper. They also asked about deadlines, the hours of work and how to get a job at the paper. They wanted to know about news gathering and what happens if there is no news that week. We expect some of those kids to be journalists of tomorrow. (Richard McGuire photo)
