Every drum was utilized last Saturday during the Nankama West African Drum and Dance show (above) at the Oliver Sunshine Festival. Many families gathered to take part in the activities organized by Oliver Parks and Recreation. The drumming show enticed many people to get into the spirit. At left, Jeniah McElroy from Get Bent Arts and Recreation performs a belly dance routine for the audience. Other activities included tug-o-war, sack races, carnival rides and musical entertainment.
