Get free naloxone training at Remedy’s RX every Tuesday from 1-3 pm.
People who are interested should be aware of a free naloxone training session in Oliver every Tuesday from 1-3 pm at Oliver Pharmacy (Remedy’s RX).
These sessions can save lives and reduce opioid overdoses, and it only takes 30 minutes to get certified.
The training is easy for people because the goal is to get the naloxone kits given out into the community as quickly as possible. They are targeting people who use street drugs, although the elderly are also prescribed opioids for pain control. They, too, are in danger of overdosing.
