Oliver firefighters were called to their own training grounds for a real multi-vehicle fire this afternoon.

Thick, black smoke could be seen billowing above the property at the end of Cessna Street, where approximately four vehicles were engulfed in flames.

Oliver RCMP arrived to commence an investigation.

Fire department spokesman Rob Graham said the incident is “very suspicious.”

“RCMP are looking into it and anyone with information that may be of help should contact the RCMP,” Graham noted.
