SHARE YOUR 'GOING GREEN' STORIES WITH OUR READERS

OSOYOOS TIMES-November 19, 2008

As some of you may have noticed, the Osoyoos Times has been running a special section dedicated to all things green as part of the province's LiveSmart BC campaign.

The section, which is found in the newspaper's second part, usually includes a column on environmentally friendly living as well as stories we've put together on local efforts to help the planet.

It has run for the last few weeks, although it is taking a break for this issue, and will continue until January.

Now the Times would very much like to hear from you.

We want to know about the people, businesses and organizations in this community that are working to make a difference when it comes to protecting the environment.

It could be something as simple as a unique composting project, ways in which energy is saved or just the steps you take to reduce your footprint on the planet.

It's no secret that many who live in the Osoyoos area are passionate about keeping our air, water and land clean and healthy for this generation and generations to come.

We're asking for you to share a story about yourself or someone you know who exemplifies how many Osoyoos residents are friends of the planet.
