The Town of Osoyoos has rescinded the Water Quality Advisory issued on January 19 due to firefighting activity related to a fire at the Avalon Inn & Mobile Home Park as of Friday, Jan. 26, 4:30 p.m.
Bacteriological and general potability testing were completed, and the results indicate that the system continues to meet the drinking water guidelines, the town said
“The Town appreciates your patience and understanding,” it said in an advisory adding if any water users have any questions, to contact the Operational Services Department at 250-495-6213.
