Oliver RCMP are looking at a report that a dog had been shot in a rural area close to Black Sage Road this week.
On December 10 police received a report that a local dog owner had lost his husky cross on Saturday, Dec. 6. The dog was apparently wearing a collar but no tags.
On December 10 it was indicated that the dog had been located in a rural area. An investigation determined that the canine had been shot dead.
No further information was available by the RCMP.
