The ice is in, and another curling season is underway at the Eastlink Curling Centre.
Enthusiastic members of the Oliver Curling Club have been popping down to the Eastlink Curling Centre the past few nights, taking advantage of open ice time to hone their skills in time for the start of the season.
There will be another open ice session Friday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Returning members, along with those interested in trying the sport for the first time, are welcome to come out and throw rocks.
League play starts after the Thanksgiving weekend, with the ladies taking to the ice Tuesday evening, mixed play goes Wednesday and the Men’s League curls every Thursday.
