The Osoyoos Coyotes begin their regular hockey series Saturday after a successful exhibition series that wrapped up on Friday.

The season opener takes place Saturday at 7 p.m. in Revelstoke as the Coyotes face the Grizzlies.

In the recent exhibition series, the Coyotes only played against the Princeton Posse and Grand Forks Bruins.

They won all three games against the Posse with scores of 6-1, 6-2 and 9-5 respectively, with the first two of these played at the Sun Bowl Arena and the third in Princeton last Wednesday.

They beat the Bruins 6-2 in their first game, but suffered their only exhibition loss 3-2 in Grand Forks last Friday.

After facing Revelstoke this Saturday, the Coyotes go on to face the Storm in Kamloops on Friday, Sept. 16 and the 100 Mile House Wranglers the following night in the Cariboo.

Then on Friday, Sept. 23 they play the Steam in Summerland.

They don’t play a home game until Sept. 24 against Kamloops.
