The Osoyoos Coyotes season may not have ended with the record they wanted, but the team’s owner says they are moving forward with positivity.
“On behalf of the entire Osoyoos Coyotes organization, I would like to thank all of our corporate partners, billet families, fans and volunteers for their ongoing dedicated support. It was a challenging and disappointing season, however we’re already hard at work in an effort to return to our former winning ways,” said Randy Bedard, owner of the Osoyoos Coyotes who finished the season at the bottom of the Bill Ohlhausen Division with a record of 9-37-1-0-2.
The season saw a parting of ways with Dean Maynard in November with former Coyote alum Carter Rigby taking over the head coach gig. Bedard said the “plan is to move forward with Carter should both sides agree to an amicable contract” next season.
An awards banquet held on Feb. 23 at Boston Pizza in Osoyoos recognized not only players, but fans, supporters and billets.
