CORE project focuses on garbage pickup

Students from Southern Okanagan Secondary School scoured the community on Monday to clean up garbage as part of a new CORE project that was created.

In Latin, “cor” means heart, so the school created CORE teams to build community connections and student leadership. These teams share a monthly focus to enhance school culture.
