The Oliver Lions and Lioness clubs hosted the arrival on Saturday, Sept. 6. for the Cops for Kids ride team, we appreciate everything and would like to extend our sincere thanks to the community.
Each year our team arrives into Oliver to such a warm welcome of supporters and friends who feed our team and generously donate to support the cause we’re riding for.
This year, our team raised a record $263,000 and it’s because of our local supporters that we’re able to continue assisting children in medical, physical or traumatic crisis within southeastern British Columbia.
As our need continues to grow, we’re working even harder each day to raise essential funds year-round to wipe out our wait list for funding. Donations can be made year-round by visiting our website at www.copsforkids.org
