The Osoyoos sign at the intersection of Hwy. 97 and Hwy. 3 has been given a new coat of paint in departure from the “desert-esque” earth tones it previously sported.

According to Town of Osoyoos CAO Rod Risling the new colour scheme is in line with the official town colour pallet. It was repainted to cover over what was some still barely visible graffiti which featured a particular piece of “male anatomy”.
