Two vehicles were involved in a collision on Highway 97 at Tucelnuit Drive north of Oliver on Sunday, resulting in undetermined injuries.
Fire department spokesperson Rob Graham said it appeared that a southbound vehicle collided with another vehicle at the intersection. The collision occurred just after noon.
“The driver of the southbound vehicle did suffer some injury buy was able to be taken out of the vehicle before emergency crews could arrive”
Graham said the extent of injuries is unknown.
He noted that passengers of both vehicles were treated by paramedics.
Firefighters performed traffic control duties until the vehicles were removed from the highway.
