An Osoyoos man is now facing an upgraded charge of manslaughter after a 61-year-old woman died in hospital following an alleged assault inside a Cypress Hills Drive home.
Roderick Ashley Flavell, 62, is now facing a single count of manslaughter related to death of Tina Seminara, the BC Prosecution Service (BCPS) confirmed Wednesday.
Flavell’s first appearance on the new charge in court is scheduled for July 20, 2020. Flavell is currently in custody and has not yet had a bail hearing according to Dan McLaughlin, communications counsel with the BC Prosecution Service.
“As the matter remains before the court there will be no further comment from the BCPS.”
