The local chapter of Beta Sigma Phi friendship sorority last week donated $200 to Osoyoos Secondary School's (OSS) Band Club. The group is a cultural organization, said President Donna Kelso, so after several years of donating to the food bank, they decided to make a donation more related to culture. OSS no longer has the numbers for a music program, so the Band Club is an extracurricular activity under director Anne Murseli. Some of the students came out of class for the presentation.
