Best in show awards were presented Saturday to local artists exhibiting at The Art Gallery Osoyoos’ show of works by the local chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Making the presentation was Georgia Krebs (left) a past president. The painting taking first prize is the one at top left by Debbie Tougas of Oliver titled “Robbie Said.” Tougas couldn’t attend the presentation. The second place winner was Osoyoos artist Michael Jorden (right) for his painting “Ride the High Country.” Third place winner was Naramata artist Marianne Meyer (centre) who won for the painting between her and Jorden titled “If There is a Choice.” Four other artists won honourable mentions.
