The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died following a boating incident on Heart Lake near Hedley on July
20. He is Clair Stacey Collicutt, 46, from Keremeos.
Collicutt and a friend were out on a small boat when it overturned. The friend made it to shore, but Collicutt failed to reach the shoreline. The friend reported the incident the next day when
he was able to reach a less remote location, but Collicutt had died at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
The family of Collicutt has been notified.
