On Saturday the Oliver Tourism Association hosted guests from the other side of the world.
A group from Bandai, Japan were in Oliver on a business trip, seeking opportunities to import wine and locally made products for their roadside market in Bandai.
The visitors included Mayor Igarashi, who traded business stories with Oliver Mayor Ron Hovanes.
Bandai is the “sister city” to the Town of Oliver.
