A public consultation is underway this week in the process to have Osoyoos designated as an age-friendly community.
The town engaged Cardea Health Consulting earlier this spring to carry out an age-friendly assessment.
Age-friendly designaton gives the town access to provincial grants to carry out projects aimed at making town facilities friendly to people of all ages, including seniors.
Older adults, caregivers, stakeholders and community members can share their views through group consultations throughout the town, including focus groups and interviews.
