RCMP have reported that the missing woman has been located and is safe.
“To advise, the female reported missing from Princeton today, has been located safe. We appreciate the media and public’s attention to this matter,” said Const. James Grandy with the Penticton RCMP.
RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 36-year-old, Josephine Thiessen.
She was last seen in Princeton on Feb. 2, 2021. She may be driving her 2006 Toyota Yaris, orange in colour with B.C. licence plate: AJ729C. There may be a “Browning” sticker on the back.
Police believe she could be traveling anywhere within the province.
Thiessen is described by RCMP as a caucasian female; 5 foot 10 inches (178 cm); 110lbs (49kgs); Sandy brown hair; blue eyes with glasses; often wears work boots and several layered sweaters.
“Police and family are concerned for Josephine’s well-being. As we continue to try and locate her, we’re asking the public to watch for her and report any sightings,” said Const. James Grandy.
Princeton RCMP request anyone with information on the whereabouts of Josephine Thiessen to contact them at 250-295-6911, or to call 911.
