Now in its 13th year, pyjamas are being accepted for the annual Christmas Pyjama Drive.

Organized by Connie Osachoff, the drive connects students in need across School District 53 with new pairs of pyjamas.

When it launched in 2006, the drive only supported Osoyoos students, but has expanded with growing generosity from the community.

“We do the best we can with it and we always get well over 200 pairs of pajamas and I’m very happy with that,” Osachoff said.

The pyjamas need to be new, but any sizes will be accepted.

“Really in the end, when you start sorting it out you’ve got such a variety it doesn’t matter, you don’t have to specify if you want this, that or the other – as long as it’s new,” Osachoff said.

Donations can be dropped off at Desert Sun Counselling and Resource Centre (8701 Main St.) from Nov. 9 to Dec. 9 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
